Full service and comfort

Personal Care

Prior to admission and thereafter we meet individually with each resident and their family to address their unique care needs. A personal plan of care is developed based on individual needs and preferences.

Nutrition

Tasty, nutritious, and well-balanced meals are served three times daily. Meals are scheduled to allow eating at a leisurely pace and healthy between-meal snacks are served. Special diets are accommodated.

Safety

Hallways are furnished with handrails. Bathrooms are equipped with grab bars and non-slip surfaces in easy access showers.

Physical

Our homes are all equipped with central air conditioning and heating. To facilitate an “at-home” feeling, residents may furnish and decorate their own rooms, if they so desire, although our rooms are already fully furnished. Our large patios are surrounded by a beautifully landscaped yard including fruit-bearing trees and vegetable gardens.

Social

Daily activities are planned with themes revolving around the seasons, holidays, residents’ birthdays, etc. In-home activities include movies, table games, gardening, and crafts. We encourage visits by family members and friends.

Medication Management

All medications are kept in a secured, central location. Medications are administered according to physicians’ orders.

Personal Care

Hospice Care, Medical Supplies, and Physical Therapy is provided through outside licensed organizations.

Thousand Oaks Home care is the most loving , clean, cozy environment for your loved one. They are incredibly efficient and clean. They treated me,  my mother, and father like family from the moment they arrived. They serve delicious home cooked meals and bathed  them everyday. They were helpful to me to navigate their health care. As my parents health declined, they became even more helpful. The owner Gilliana is also helpful and understanding.

For fifteen years as a certified nursing assistant, I have never seen RCFE like Thousand Oaks Home Care.  This facility is very clean and they treat their residents with dignity and respect like their own love ones. Thousand Oaks Home Care as i recommend is  one of the best home care to be. With Raymond Cesar as the one who manages the facility, you will be more comfortable and @ ease, and feel that one of your loved ones is well taken cared of. The cleanliness, not only with the house but most importantly is the wholeness of the client. Food and medications are well maintained. Some activities are done accordingly to suit ones ability. Thousand Oaks home care is a caring place to live for elderly residents.  They are  very professional especially Raymund and other  workers who takes care of the residents like their own family member.  They are fully trustworthy. They are mindful about  the safety of their residents. Residents can decorate their own room.  I ve seen other rcfe but this place was so remarkable its very clean and homy.
